PROGRAM AND VENUE

The final concert took place in the legendary Jesus Christ Church in Dahlem, famous for its breathtaking acoustics, where the world-renowned conductor Herbert von Karajan made many of his most important recordings.

The program of this festival was unique because it featured the premieres of works written especially for our festival by composers Mikolaj Majkusiak, Gorka Hermosa, and Roberto Molinelli. We were also performing "Martin Eden" by Vyacheslav Solotaryov, who died under tragic circumstances 50 years ago.

Furthermore, composer Artem Nizhnik has composed a new arrangement of Viktor Vlasov's famous jazz concerto for accordion, French horn, and chamber orchestra. The accordion solo were performed by Professor Volodymyr Murza from Odessa, to whom the composer dedicated this work.

Composer Yuri Povolotsky also composed a new arrangement of his "Adios Amigo!" for the residents of Odessa – the soloists in this piece are Volodymyr Murza and his nephew, the renowned violinist Andrii Murza.

At the concert, the soloists were accompanied by the PANTONALE Chamber Orchestra conducted by Miran Vaupotić and the Goldmund Vocal Ensemble.
