Andrii Murza | Violin
Andrii Murza is one of the most exiting Ukrainian violinist of his generation. He firmly established himself as a compelling and versatile interpreter and has performed in numerous important music festivals, including Lucern Festival, Wiener Festwochen, Beethovenfest Bonn. He performed as a soloist with the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra or Philharmonie Baden-Baden under internationally renowned conductors such as Oksana Lyniv, Pawel Przytocki and Peter Csaba. Being passionate about pedagogy, he began his pedagogical activities by joining the faculty of the Odesa National Music Academy. Later he was appointed as teaching assistant to Marco Rizzi at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts. In addition, he is the founder and artistic director of the Odesa International Violin Competition (member of the WFIMC).
Andrii Murza plays a French violin made by Auguste Sebastien Philippe Bernardel (Père) in 1840.
