Uliana Zhdanov | Violin
Uliana Zhdanov was born in Voronezh, Russia, where she received her musical training on the violin. After a master class with Prof. Wolfgang Marschner, she made her debut as a soloist with Wieniawski's Concerto No. 2. From 1998 to 2001, she was a scholarship holder of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation and performed in Russia's most prestigious concert halls. During her studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, she performed both as a soloist and as a member of a piano trio. From 2007 to 2011, she served as concertmaster of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra under the direction of G. Rozhdestvensky, performing with renowned artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Mikhail Pletnev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Natalia Gutman, and Placido Domingo. She is currently the artistic director of the Zhdanov Concerts artist agency and performs both as a soloist and as a member of various chamber ensembles.
