Uwe Steger | Accordion | Germany
Uwe Steger studied at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin and was the winner of many prizes at national and international competitions during this time. He received a scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation.
Since 1997 he has played in free collaboration with many large theaters and orchestras, especially in Berlin. As an endorser for the companies Roland and Bugari, he had numerous international trade fair appearances. He is always in demand as a guest lecturer in the USA. Various online platforms well documented his extensive and multifaceted oeuvre. Since 2009 he has been teaching the accordion at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music in Leipzig.
