Volker / Holly Schlott is a producer, composer, musician (sax, flute, piano, percussion). He/she writes music for film, television and theater productions and has published the playful saxophone performance book “Saxofun” with AMA Verlag. He/she is a cultural ambassador for the Goethe Institutes on all continents and has been a lecturer at the Berlin Jazz Institute JIB since 2017. In 2018 Holly Schlott released the solo “two spirits”, in which he/she spoke for the first time about transgender identity in German jazz. Since then, Holly has been a fixture on the stage.
